I call it water from the sky edition because the rain ruined most of these photos.

First up, this deeply, well, I’ll call it busy , Dodge Dart. I’m pretty sure leaving that neon on while the car is parked will drain the battery. I’ve seen it around campus plenty but this was the first time I saw it stopped. You can actually see the Pontiac G6 coupe EXP behind it.

It looks better moving because then I didn’t notice the tires.

Ummm, yeah, why? So you’ve got two spokes painted two different colors in addition to the white radial pattern worn off by curb rash (overexposed so it doesn’t show). And the urban camo wrap doesn’t hold up to closer scrutiny.

I couldn’t see in the windows to note the transmission choice but based on the throttle sounds I’ve heard as it drives by (it’s quite loud) I am leaning towards a third pedal being present.

I respect dailying a Mclaren 720S as a college student but also I am a poor so I can’t admit it’s cool. Still, every time he opens it up. . . mmmmmmm YES!

And here you have the bourgeoisie driving their C class coupe AMG on a bike path for absolutely no reason. And behind them you see a random maintenance truck also driving on a bike path. There are fairly steep stairs on each side of the road between the two vehicles so I really see no reason whatsoever for there to be cars here. Yet I see it regularly. IT’S NOT A ROAD!

That’s exactly what I thought of. I forgot the Jr and Signature Series designation. What a terrible long name for a kinda meh car.

I’ve always felt bad for the Dodge Dart. It’s not a bad looking car, and a performan ce SRT-4 version would have been cool. Sadly, it fell victim to being a Dodge.

Someone used to DD a Porsche 356 when I was there, it was an older gentleman. Parked in the top deck of peters, wonder if he’s still there.

They were well styled, decently built, reasonably competitive, and drove well enough. The market timing was just not good at all and FCA inexplicably gave up on advertising it. I’d rock a used one but not for very much money.

I haven’t seen such a car on top of Peters or anywhere else for that matter. Someone was dailying an automatic gen 1.0 Mustang notchback but I haven’t seen it around recently. Nothing quite that exotic other than the McLaren.

There is the G6 GXP (slushbox) and a few other relatively obscure cars around the place. There’s an old Volvo 240 too. Then there’s the LR Freelander. There’s decent enough variety considering cars are largely unnecessary on campus.

There wasn’t anything that ridiculous when I was there, or at least that I remembered. Think there was probably someone with a GTR, and there was a smattering of M cars. There was a ZTA who had a red 6MT E46 M3.

A McLaren is pretty ridiculous. A Pontiac G6 coupe GXP is just weird. Not many classics owned by students but a few oddly well preserved cars you don’t see often anymore.

I t was a FIAT so it had to fail commercially !

They haven’t (including their sub-brands) successfully launched a new model not called a 500 something since... maybe 15 years ago !
